U.S. stock index futures edged higher on Tuesday, building on strong gains in recent weeks as investors continued to bet on a policy pivot by the Federal Reserve year. .N

At 7:02 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were up 0.06% at 37,699. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were up 0.08% at 4,797, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were up 0.08% at 16,953.25.
