Wall Street's main indexes slid more than 1% on Tuesday after a hotter-than-expected jobs report deepened worries over interest rates staying higher for longer, providing a fresh leg up to Treasury yields and dragging megacap stocks lower. .N

At 12:12 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.13% at 33,054.22. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.32% at 4,231.57 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 1.62% at 13,091.637.
