JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) said Thursday it plans to open its first airport lounges starting with an 8,000-square foot space at John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 5 in 2025, and an 11,000-square-foot spot at Boston Logan International Airport Terminal C soon after. The airline said the move was prompted by "growing demand for premium offerings." JetBlue said it plans to offer lounge access to its TrueBlue Mosaic members. It's also planning to launch a new premium credit-card, which will offer the lounges as a perk. The airline's transatlantic Mint customers will also have access to the lounges. JetBlue's stock was up 2.6% in premarket trades.
