Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline margins hold steady

- Northwest European gasoline refining margins were unchanged at $8.47 a barrel on Monday, as buying activity ebbed.

  • Shell sold a barge Eurobob E10 gasoline to Varo in the Argus window.

  • Another 8,000 tons of Eurobob E5 traded, down from 14,000 tons on Friday. Gunvor sold to Shell and Trafigura.

  • EU and UK gasoline exports are projected to reach 705,000 barrels per day (bpd) this month, Kpler data showed, down from 1.15 million bpd in August.

  • A Nigerian presidential committee announced on Friday that state-owned oil company NNPC Limited will distribute gasoline from the 650,000 bpd Dangote Refinery to the local market, ending the deadlock that had stalled distribution.

  • Russia's primary oil refining capacity is expected to rise in the second half of September as refineries are wrapping up their maintenance, according to Reuters calculations based on data from industry sources.

  • Total offline capacity for the whole month is still seen remaining the same as calculated last week, at around 3.9 million tons, jumping 34% in September from August.
