** A UBS report earlier says that Chinese EV battery maker CATL 300750.SZ has suspended two mines
** The report adds suspensions could cut ~8%, or around 5,000-6,000 metric tons, of China's monthly lithium carbonate production
** Shares of Albemarle ALB.N, one of the largest lithium miners in the world, up 8.2%
** Arcadium Lithium ALTM.N and Piedmont Lithium PLL.O jump 10.2% and 6.6%, respectively
** U.S.-listed shares of Lithium Americas LAC.N and SQM SQM.N climb 7.7% and 8.8%, respectively
