Wall Street's main indexes fell over 1% on Tuesday as investors assessed subdued factory activity data ahead of a slew of labor market reports due through the week that could influence the extent of monetary policy easing by the Federal Reserve. .N

At 13:31 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.07% at 41,119.43. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.47% at 5,565.51 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 2.41% at 17,286.405.
