U.S. stock index futures edged up on Friday ahead of a crucial inflation report that could influence investor expectations about the extent of the central bank's interest-rate cuts this year..N

At 7:35 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were up 0.24% at 41,539. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were up 0.44% at 5,634.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were up 0.76% at 19,540.
