All three major U.S. stock indexes gained more 1% on Friday, with the benchmark S&P 500 an all-time high, after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said "the time has come" to reduce interest rates. .N

At 13:41 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.81% at 41,041.07. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.83% at 5,616.8 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.16% at 17,823.017.
