Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Thursday, bolstered by better-than-expected jobs data that eased worries of an imminent slowdown in the world's largest economy. .N

At 12:35 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.31% at 39,271.58. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.75% at 5,290.64 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 2.21% at 16,553.824.
