U.S. stock index futures fell on Friday, as traders shifted out of expensive megacap technology stocks, while assessing the impact of a worldwide tech outage that hit businesses across sectors. .N

At 7:54 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were down 0.15% at 40,895. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were up 0.07% at 5,598.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were up 0.12% at 19,923.
