U.S. stock index futures were little changed on Wednesday ahead of a holiday-shortened trading session, while markets also geared up for a slew of economic data and minutes from the Federal Reserve's June policy meeting for more direction. .N

At 7:38 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were up 0.06% at 39,713. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were down 0.03% at 5,567.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were down 0.06% at 20,243.
