Banking stocks lifted the Dow, while semiconductor shares weighed on the Nasdaq on Monday as focus moves to labor market data due later in the week for cues on the Federal Reserve's monetary policy path. .N

At 11:57 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.06% at 39,144.12. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.01% at 5,461.27 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.33% at 17,791.049.
