The Nasdaq slipped on Monday, dragged down by weakness in Nvidia and other chip stocks, while investors geared up for a key inflation print this week that could further shape bets over the timing and quantum of rate cuts. .N

At 11:32 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.99% at 39,536.89. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.27% at 5,479.62 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.31% at 17,635.091.
