U.S. stock index futures rose on Friday, a day after equities slumped on hawkish remarks from Federal Reserve officials on interest rate cuts, while investors braced for a key jobs report that could help shape the monetary policy outlook. .N

At 7:32 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were up 0.20% at 38,994. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were up 0.29% at 5,212.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were up 0.34% at 18,138.5.
