The blue-chip Dow and the benchmark S&P 500 eased on Friday, but they remained on track for strong weekly gains as investors cheered the Federal Reserve's rate-easing stance. .N

At 13:32 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.46% at 39,598.27. The S&P 500 .SPX was unchanged at 5,241.53 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.30% at 16,451.154.
