U.S. stock index futures were muted on Tuesday with, investors keeping an eye on earnings from pharma companies and awaiting commentary from Federal Reserve officials for clues on the timing of the central bank's first interest-rate cut. .N

At 7:02 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were down 0.15% at 38,407. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were down 0.07% at 4,958.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were down 0.03% at 17,695.
